I would sing to you,
like the Ocean waves sings to the daffodils.
Like the clock, lives to tell time,

So was I crafted of the calmest sands,
Eyes of the ocean's blue, and a feast to all that see, A mother’s pride.
but for thy happiness alone.

My happiness?
Oh, that is non-existent.
Like my mother’s.
I would not be my mother’s child, if I were,
and I see, that would make you unhappy,
then what again do I live for?

All these because I think, I love you
not because I want you.
